CONGRATULATIONS!!
Our music director, Martin, was honoured at the Guild of Musicians and Singers by being awarded a membership at Fellowship level at their prestigious ceremony.
The event took place at Regent's Hall, Oxford Street, London, with the full convocation of the Master and Full Council of the Guild of Musicians. The GMS is an International Arts Fraternity of Professional and Amateur Musicians, whose patrons are renowned in their professional circles.
The day included a fanfare processional by the renowned concert pianist Dominic John, and a recital by flamenco guitarist Dr. Ignacio Lusardi Monteverde supported by percussionist Demi Garcia Sabat - the programme covered many different flamenco styles and was very well received - followed by a Militaire processional. The day ended with a social where tea and cakes were served.
