The choir gives us an opportunity to meet and make new friends. The Alto section recently met for dinner to welcome some new members and to catch up with others.
Wessex Chorus was invited to sing to welcome Spear Bournemouth's supporters and visitors. A night to witness the young people from the 20th programme graduate from the foundation stage.
Our fun evening of skittles took place at the Hurn Bridge Social Club on the Avon Causeway.
We played many games, most of us were not good at it, and had lots of laughs!

This year we were at the Commodore in Southbourne.
It was good to see so many of us braving the cold to turn out in festive mood.
Today we turned up at Nick’s Farm in Throop where we sang festive music and carols to parents, children and staff. Nick’s Farm gives work opportunities to young people so we thought we would get them in the festive mood with a little singing.
A magical evening in the main room of Clarendon Towers, Branksome Park.
We sang carols and Christmas songs to a wonderful audience of residents and friends, followed by home-made mince pies and mulled wine.
If you want a traditional 9 Lessons and Carols, this was the event to go to. It was wonderful! Many dignitaries were present, including the current Mayor of Bournemouth: Councillor Anne Filer.
