Today we turned up at Nick’s Farm in Throop where we sang festive music and carols to parents, children and staff. Nick’s Farm gives work opportunities to young people so we thought we would get them in the festive mood with a little singing.
A magical evening in the main room of Clarendon Towers, Branksome Park.
We sang carols and Christmas songs to a wonderful audience of residents and friends, followed by home-made mince pies and mulled wine.
A magnificent evening!
Audience and choir arrived in very difficult weather, it was a real ‘pea souper’ and cold and damp with it. But the show carried on, even covid and colds and flu didn’t stop us having a really festive fun packed evening provided by Wessex Chorus Community Choir.
It was a very very windy day but that didn’t dampen the enthusiasm - with joyful sing-alongs and meeting new families and friends who stopped and sang a carol with us or just listened to our singing and pondered about the coming festival season
