Christmas continues adding Christmas joy to our friends at the Bournemouth Blind Society!
The Wessex Chorus look forward to its annual Charity Carol Concert at the Bournemouth Blind Society, at Rooper Hall in Moordown. Fun and laughter and a considerable amount of whooping was had by all. Carols, contemporary readings and Christmas songs kept the full hall entertained.
The huge raffle and refreshments are always a smash with the audience during the interval. The raffle raises much needed funds for our choir. Thanks to all the organisers and to those that donated gifts and cakes.
Then during the fun and frolics of the second half Martin and Debbie gave a “Bublé and twain’ stylised version of White Christmas along with a strictly dancing treat to end with.
The roof was raised by the fine singing of O come all ye faithful - all seven verses - with Ding dong and Deck the halls finishing the high singing impact set with We wish you a Merry Christmas.
What a night and thank you to all our supporters, and especially to everyone for the amazing collection that was taken for Spear Bournemouth, raising £116 in that alone. So generous!!
