Our Annual Big Charity concert was held at the Immanuel URC church in Southbourne and was a great success. It was packed with nearly 150 people - with over 40 coming last minute to the door.
The programme was an eclectic mix of classical, show, pop and spiritual, ending with a Mamma Mia to end all shows. The dancing for the finale was a sight to see - so many getting up in their seats and the aisles and dancing for a whole 13 minutes and ending with raucous applause and whoops!!! A representative from Radio Hope FM said the singing from the Choir was "our best yet".
Tickets were £10 and this included refreshments during the interval - the most amazing spread - thank you to the refreshment team for a great job, especially for the home made cakes... Yummy!!!
It was a great night all round and thank you again to our fund raising Goddess for her mammoth raffle towards our funds. It was a raffle like no other, in excess of 50 prizes and so many winners and beautiful prizes. Thank you to the raffle team and an enthusiastic little helper for doing the the ticket barrel picking.
It was a night to remember raising over £875 still being counted the Profits for Spear…..
