Our Bournemouth Blind Society Summer charity concert was the best yet. The choir sang and performed amazingly and we received such a lovely warm welcome.
Philip from BBS said "Thank you and the choir Members for Saturday evening, I am sure the singing gets better each time!” and "Due to the generosity of the audience, we took £400 on the door plus a further £120 of bar sales”.
This was a great outcome especially as this was the evening of an England world cup game and it was so so hot. But under all adversity the choir showed their professionalism, gave a sterling performance and got the audience to sing along too. The choir funds were increased also by a wonderful raffle raising £165.
